Leapin' Lizards! ANNIE Comes to the Rep!
The Ferndale Repertory Theatre is pleased to present Annie, a holiday, musical treat for the whole family. Productions begin Friday, November 29 at 8:00pm and continue every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening at 8:00pm and Sunday matinee at 2:00pm until December 22. On Saturday, December 21, there will also be a matinee showing at 2:00pm. Benefits slated for Annie are Saturday, November 30 for the Highland Vineyard Church, Sunday, December 8 for the New World Youth Ballet, and Thursday, December 12 for Fortuna Safe & Sober. Actors Benefit Night is scheduled for Thursday, December 19. All box proceeds from this show go to our hard-working cast and crew. For information and tickets, please call 786-5483.
Caitlin Conners & Dog Ginger
Elisa Woodruff, Caitlin Conners, & Albert MartinezAnnie , a spunky Depression-era orphan, is determined to find her parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City orphanage run by a cruel, bitter Miss Hannigan. In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foils Miss Hannigans evil plans, befriends President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and finds a new family and home in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy. It's a heart-warming classic thats perfect for the whole family this holiday season.
Elisa Woodruff, Laureen Tipple, & Albert MartinezDirector, Harper Mosley, with the help of Vocal Director, Elisa Woodruff and Choreographer, Loene Gossett, has put together an outstanding cast. Popular enough with the young actresses to require two full casts of orphans and two Annies, the orphans are: Jade Sorenson, Mandy Smith, Ashley Krueger, Andrea Boomer, Shannon Sigler, and Catherine Boers, Kendra Wolcott, Ariana McShayn-Ananda, Kelsey Wortman, Chyna Dale, Shelby Schoenhofer, and Derby McLaughlin. Laureen Tipple and Caitlin Conners play the Annies. The role of the evil Miss Hannigan is taken on by Monica Abrahamsen. Rooster, Hannigans sly brother is Deric Mendes whose girlfriend, Lily St Regis, played by Nannette Voss, work with Hannigan on her wicked plans. Albert Martinez and Elisa Woodruff team up again to play Warbucks and Farrell. Rounding out the cast is the ensemble who take on many roles: Amber Salisbury, DeAnna Salladay, Lisa Ybarra, Jessica Stokesberry, Mitch Marlin, Linden Taylor Glavich, Luke Goldsmith, and Shane Reeves. Sandy, the dog, is played by Ginger, owned by Grace Kerr. Musical Director, Issa Stemler is conducting and playing piano, Shawn Lyon is on drums, and Jessica Barker is on bass. Production is in the talented hands of Harper Mosley (set design), Joe Collins (light design), Daniel Kane, Linden Glavich, Willi Welton and Loreene Harper(costume design), John Stewart (scenic murals), and Deric Mendes (sound design). Stage management is by Carol Martinez and Willi Welton.
