Just imagine a world where anything's possible - an elephant in a tree, a person too tiny to see, a heroic child and dreams running wild! Just think of a magical, musical world where helping a friend, never giving up and keeping a promise come alive in this amazing show that's for adults in their 90s down to kids in their twos! Seussical creates the witty, wild and whimsical world of Dr. Seuss as it has never been seen before. When chaos erupts in the Jungle of Nool, it will take the Cat in the Hat, Horton the Elephant, Gertrude McFuzz, and a gaggle of Dr. Seuss characters to bring harmony back to their world.

Director Elisa Woodruff, Musical Director Justin Ross, and Choreographer Loene Gossett team together to present this clever, colorful, tuneful and full of heart musical on our stage. They have cast an ensemble of Humboldt County's best. Featured as the Cat in the Hat and narrator is Rep favorite, Breyon Earl; Evan Needham plays Horton the Elephant with Rachael Fales as JoJo. The rest of the ensemble, who play multiple roles that include Seuss favorites Gertrude McFuzz, The Grinch, Yertle the Turtle among others, is: Shaelan Salas, Clair Olmstead, Laureen Tipple, Darcy Daughtry, Brittany Gonzales, Joel Tipple, and Bob Biedeman.

The talented production team is Lori Tipple (assistant director/production manager), Nanette Voss (vocal coach), Daniel L. Lawrence (set design), Joshua Switzer (light design), Desmond Mosley (costume design), Gabriel Groom (sound design), Willi Welton (properties), and Jennifer Stannard and Emily Martinez (stage managers). The band is under the direction of conductor/keyboardist, Justin Ross. Poster design is by Holly Burton and cast, publicity, and archive photography is by Matt Knowles of Aesthetic Design & Photography.

SEUSSICAL is a contemporary re-imagining of Dr. Seuss, which weaves together many of his most famous stories and characters in unexpected ways. The Tony Award-winning team of Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty (Ragtime & Once on This Island) has created a score that includes pop, gospel, blues and R & B. This is a captivating family show that shouldn't be missed. For tickets and information, please call (707) 786-5483.
