The Ferndale Rep Presents A Not-so-typical Christmas Pageant

Productions begin Friday, November 25th and continue every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings at 8:00pm through December 16th, with matinees on Saturday, December 17th and on all Sundays through December 18th at 2:00pm Benefit are scheduled for Sunday, December 11 for Fuente Nueva Charter School and Thursday, December 15th for Fortuna Safe & Sober. Thursday, December 8th is the Actor's Benefit Night, where all proceeds go to the hard working cast and crew. Ticket prices are $12 general admission and $10 student/senior. Meet the Herdman kids. They steal, scream, fight, and smoke cigars (even the girls!). Their classmates are only safe from them at church. That is, until an innocent comment brings the Herdmans into church and starring in the annual Christmas pageant. Soon the congregation is running for cover! Who would have guessed that the parents, teachers, children, and especially the Herdmans could end up discovering the true meaning of the season?
Community involvement is also a large part of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. Directors, Harper Mosley and Carol Martinez, have chosen a cast of 41 who volunteer their time. Included among the eight adult actors are 33 children from all over Humboldt County. The production team is comprised of Harper Mosley (set), Daniel L. Lawrence (lights), Denise Ryles (costume), Gabriel Groom (sound), Harriet Gobel (vocal), Dan Tubbs (photography), Robin Robin (poster), and Kelsey Wortman and Holly McLaughlin (stage management).
