THE GHOST OF THE HART AT THE REP
The Rep's 2006-07 season has been affectionately dedicated to Bertha, the Rep's most enduring resident. And in celebration of this, our 35th year, the Ferndale Repertory Theatre's, Young Actors' Studio (YAS) presents a charming comedy for the entire family, The Ghost of the Hart, written and directed by Vikki Young May 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, 12, at 7:30pm. Matinee performances are on May 6 and 13 at 2pm.
Join in the fun as the Rep holds auditions for a production of (you guessed it!) The Ghost of the Hart. Fortuna High student Kyle Ambrosini plays the director who attempts to keep the audition under control as Bertha thwarts his every move. Ferndale elementary student Layne Stephens is the Stage Manager, baffled and befuddled by it all. Kym and Mark Valenti are the backstage crew who try to help, and Ferndale student Cassidy Allardice is in the light and sound booth, wondering "what is going on up there?" The cast of auditioners includes high school student Stephanie Africa from Arcata, Eureka students Jasmine Diaz, Kaela Hertler, Timothy Ward and Tye Valenti, Garberville student Devon Cecil, Fortuna students Trevor Ambrosini, Kellie Tappan, Abbie Caswell, and Abigail Gans, and Ferndale students Catherine Boers, Madison Parker, Kassie Rosell, and Daniella Stevens. The audience is encouraged to join in and is a vital part of the performance.
The Ghost of the Hart tickets are $10 general admission and $5 for students. School group rates for 10 or more are available. Call the box office at 786-5483 for information and reservations or email us at info@ferndale-rep.org.
