The Party

Sponsored by the Bertha Russ Lytel Foundation.  The Ferndale Repertory Theatre’s annual school matinee brings children to the theatre from schools throughout Humboldt county. This year's production is based upon the Mad Hatter's Tea Party from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, by Lewis Carroll. In the show, Alice (Carolyn Jones) tries to teach the Mad Hatter (Renee Grinnell), the March Hare (Marilyn McCormick), the Queen of Hearts (Dorothy Swendeman) and the Carpenter (Gary Franklin) the finer points of manners and sensitivity to the feelings of others. Lighting and Sound is run by Norma Lynch. Each performance is followed by a question and answer session with the cast.
