Art From the Hart Gallery

The Rep's box office shares its space with the Art from the Hart Gallery. We mount at least seven exhibits per year, with a new exhibit opening on the same evening as each production. Most artwork is available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting both the artist and The Rep. We are always looking for interesting work to display. If you are an artist in any of the disciplines and are looking for a new venue to feature your work, call us today.

Arts Everyday!

Arts Everyday provides Family Arts Nights, where parents and children work together on an art project under the leadership of a visiting guest artist. Past programs have included Tunnel Books, Painted Pumpkins, Making Music (construction of a guitar from a cigar box), Chinese Dragon Boats, Charcoal Face Drawing, Fimo Valentines, and much more! Family Arts Nights are offered in Ferndale at the Ferndale Elementary School, and in Petrolia, at the Mattole School. We are always seeking guest artists for the program.

Celebrate America!

Please see the Special Events page for more info on our 4th of July spectacle.

Showcases

In addition to its regular season, The Rep produces or hosts a variety of special events each year. Some recent favorites:

The Tipple Movies: An annual showing of films of the Eel River Valley from the extensive collection filmed by Jack Tipple in the1930s-1960s. This event is provided annually by the Ferndale Museum.

Visiting Artists: The Rep sponsors outstanding productions by guest artists from out of the area. Past favorites have included:

Costume Rental

The Ferndale Rep has the largest costume shop in the area, with more than 6000 costume choices available. We rent costumes to schools, theatres, community groups and the general public. We do not have a catalog of our costumes, but our staff have a good handle of what is availableãjust call us with your needs and we'll see what we can find.

Theatre Rental

With seating for 265, the Ferndale Repertory Theatre is a great venue for large meetings, recitals and other community events. We love to see the theatre used, and therefore make the facility available at low rates whenever our production schedule permits.
