Rene Auberjonois & Marilyn McCormick Love Letters is a play comprised of letters exchanged over a lifetime between two people who grew up together, went their separate ways, but continued to share confidences. As the letters are read aloud, what is created are touching, evocative, frequently funny, but always revealing, character studies in which what is implied is as revealing and meaningful as what is actually written down.

René Auberjonois returns to the Rep after hosting its first Celebrity Auction in 1997. His career spans more than 40 years and includes memorable roles on Broadway, in film, and on television. He was nominated for Tony awards on three occasions--for Broadway’s City of Angels, Big River, and The Gold Doctor and received the Tony Award for COCO with Katherine Hepburn. Film credits include The Patriot, M*A*S*H, Batman Forever, Inspector Gadget, Star Trek VI, King Kong, Police Academy 5, among others. René is probably best known for his television roles as Clayton in Benson where he received an Emmy nomination, and Odo, the changeling, in Deep Space Nine.

We are proud to have René grace our stage in this unique and imaginative theatre piece. For information and reservations, please call the box office at 786-5483.
